Basil

Basil is one of my favorite herbs. I put it in almost every dish, pasta sauces, meats, salads, its great. I especially love the fresh leaves from the garden, chop it up and use it as part of my marinade, or toss it in a salad.

This year, I decided to dry some basil, so I have it throughout the winter, and I won't have to buy it.

I had one basil plant in a pot, but my father's garden, had many basil plants. So, I took the liberty of taking some!

I am hoping to have my own herb garden next season.
